Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical AutoCAD Trainer to collaborate with us in delivering practical, industry-oriented 2D drafting and mechanical design training at our Bengaluru office.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct offline classroom training sessions on AutoCAD for mechanical engineering applications.
- Teach basic drawing commands, precision drafting, layers, dimensions, annotations, and layouts.
- Train students in 2D mechanical drafting, engineering drawings, and drawing standards.
- Explain orthographic projections, sectional views, tolerances, fits, and dimensioning, as applicable.
- Provide hands-on exercises involving mechanical components, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.
- Teach plotting, printing, scale settings, and drawing documentation.
- Guide students through practical assignments and mechanical drafting projects.
- Introduce 3D modelling concepts where relevant to the trainer’s expertise.
- Coordinate with the SYNKOC team regarding batch schedules and student progress.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and mechanical drafting.
- Practical experience preparing engineering drawings and mechanical component drawings.
- Understanding of mechanical drawing conventions, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Ability to explain CAD tools and drafting concepts through hands-on demonstrations.
- Familiarity with industry drawing standards and documentation practices.
- Previous technical training, teaching, or mentoring experience is preferred.
Collaboration Model
- 50:50 revenue-sharing model, as mutually agreed.
- Student leads and batch coordination support from SYNKOC.
- Flexible batch schedules by mutual agreement.
- Training conducted offline at our Vidyaranyapura, Bengaluru office.
- Opportunity to train diploma students, engineering students, and working professionals.
This is a freelance collaboration opportunity, not a fixed-salary employment position. Earnings depend on the batches conducted and student enrolments.
